About
This building, originally constructed in 1960, has long been a staple of the High Ridge community. When it closed during the COVID era, it left a noticeable gap—especially for local youth who lost a safe, fun space to gather and stay active .When the opportunity arose to purchase the facility, I felt a strong sense of responsibility and purpose to get involved. Having grown up in this area, I wanted to help restore a place that meant so much to me and many others. With my deep passion for hockey, this venture became the perfect way to bring together my commitment to the community and love for the sport—creating a space where kids can stay engaged, develop skills, and most importantly, have fun in a positive environment.

Mission
I chose to open this skating rink for several meaningful reasons. First, I have fond memories of coming here during my youth, and it played a significant role in my early experiences with skating. It’s a place that brought joy to many, and I’d like to provide that same opportunity for others in the community. Beyond traditional public skating, this facility will serve a broader purpose. We plan to offer programs such as Learn to Play Hockey, Learn to Skate, private skating and goalie lessons, youth leagues, and both floor and ball hockey leagues, among other activities. Our goal is to create a dynamic, inclusive space where individuals of all ages can enjoy skating and develop their skills. Most importantly, I believe this initiative will contribute to the growth of roller hockey in our area. A sport I’m passionate about and eager to promote.
Vision
My vision is to operate this facility full-time, seven days a week, offering a wide range of activities including recreational skating and comprehensive hockey programming. A key goal is to introduce young children to the sport, provide quality training, and help them develop into high-level roller hockey players. While skill development is important, our top priority is ensuring that every child has fun and enjoys the game. Creating a positive and engaging environment is at the heart of everything we do.
